Frank Davies
The legal team of Torve Associates is headed by Frank Davies, the Principal Attorney, who has consulted extensively for the last 25 years in corporate, investment and compensation law. Mr. Frank Davies divers multi-disciplinary background includes banking experience as a Senior Treasury Dealer at Bank of Ghana, and a stint with Ecobank Ghana Limited, as a legal officer. He has advised on and closed medium and multi-million dollar projects for local and multinational companies in various sectors.
He has consulted extensively in financial sector development and investment climate reforms in Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda. Mr. Frank Davies was born in Accra in 1960 and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), and M.B.A (Finance) Degrees from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds a Post-Graduate degree in International Tax Law from the Robert Kennedy College. He is a member of the International Bar Association, Ghana Bar Association, the Ghana Arbitration Centre, and the African Venture Capital Association.
Kofi O. Mensah
Kofi O. Mensah is a head barrister at Torve Associates & Co. He is a leading international, commercial & financial lawyer & Attorney, with over 20 years experience. He has also represented clients in High Court and Appellate Courts, he has a special skill in financial and corporate law practice and in negotiating foreign direct investments into Ghana. He is responsible for developing and driving the vision of the Law firm for excellence and clients satisfaction through valuable solutions.
He is a member of Ghana Bar Association, International Bar Association Section on Financial Law and also a VIP member of International Trade Council, he has attended many International conferences on Law both within and outside the country. He holds an LLB and an LLM in law from the prestigious University of Ghana, as well as a Ph.D. He has attained certificates in several courses including Alternative Dispute Resolution and is a certified ADR.
